The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Delhi has released a notification regarding admissions to a Two-year Diploma program for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) and Diploma in Pre-School Education (DPSE). There are a total of 1040 seats available across various District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and 1950 seats available in all Self-Financing Scheme (SFS) institutes.

SCERT D.El.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates seeking admission to D.El.Ed course must be 12th passed from recognized institute.
• The minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination required for admission to D.EL.ED. course is 50% in aggregate. For calculating percentage of marks of 10+2 examination conducted by
• CBSE, best 5 subjects including at least one language will be considered.

Age Limit:

The maximum age can not be more than 24 years as on 30th September, 2024

SCERT D.El.Ed Selection Process 2024

The selection will be done based on a computer-based test

SCERT D.El.Ed Application Fee:

D.El.Ed.

• Unreserved : Rs. 500/-
• Reserved (SC/ST/PwD) : Rs. 250/-

Applying for Both (D.El.Ed. & DPSE)

• Unreserved : Rs. 1000/-
• Reserved (SC/ST/PwD) : Rs. 500/- -

Part Admission Fee:

(Rs.3600/- Non-refundable, but adjustable Rs.1800/- at the time of Payment of fee of the course in first year and Rs.1800/- at the time of payment of fee of the course in second year.
