The Cochin University of Science and Technology has announced the schedule for BTech Spot Admissions at Cochin University College of Engineering (CUCEK). According to the official notice, spot admissions will be based on the Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test (CUSAT CAT) 2024 rank list, as well as the marks from the qualifying exam.

The BTech spot admissions will take place on September 13, with Round 3 of the CUSAT 2024 BTech spot admissions scheduled for today, September 12. During these spot admissions, any remaining seats after the regular admission process will be filled. The official notice states, "Candidates without a CAT 2024 rank may also participate in the spot admission for CUCEK programs.

CUSAT Spot Admission 2024: Time and Venue

For BTech Spot Admissions at CUCEK, candidates must register before 9 am on September 13. The registration form for CUSAT BTech spot admissions is available on the official website, cucek.cusat.ac.in.

Candidates should report for registration at the CUCEK campus between 9:30 am and 10:30 am with their original certificates. Adhering to this time slot is essential to participate in the spot admission process. The counseling will be held at Cochin University College of Engineering, Kuttanad Pulincunoo, Alappuzha.

CUSAT 2024 BTech Spot Admission: Fee Payment

According to the CUSAT CAT counseling 2024 notice, candidates must pay the required fee online immediately after their allotment during spot admission. Failure to make this payment will result in the cancellation of the admission. After completing the payment, candidates will proceed with document verification and may need to pay additional fees, such as PTA, DDF, or Alumni fees.

The official notice also states that if candidates who have already been allotted a seat and completed the fee payment accept a spot admission to a different program within the same fee category, their previous allotment will be automatically canceled.

If they accept a spot admission to a program in a higher fee category, they must pay the additional balance within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so will result in the automatic cancellation of both the new and previous allotments.

CUSAT 2024 Spot Admission: Required Documents

For CUSAT CAT 2024 BTech spot admission, candidates must present the following documents:

• CAT 2024 admit card or online application registration confirmation page
• Migration certificate (for students from outside Kerala)
• SSLC or Class 10 marksheet and pass certificate (CBSE, ICSE, etc.)
• Class 12 marksheet and pass certificate (CBSE, ICSE, etc.)
• Certificate proving Keralite status for state merit seats
• Transfer certificate and conduct certificate from the last attended institution (in English)
• Four passport-sized photographs
• Community and non-creamy layer certificate (for SEBC candidates)
• Community certificate issued by the Tahsildar (for Kerala Scheduled Caste or Kerala Scheduled Tribe candidates)
• Valid Physically Handicapped Certificate issued by the district medical board (for candidates in the Physically Challenged category)
