Jamia Millia Islamia Announces PhD Admissions for 2024-25: Registration Opens on October 10

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has officially announced the commencement of its PhD admission process for the academic year 2024-25. Prospective candidates can begin registering for the program from October 10, 2024. Those interested and eligible must apply online through the university’s official admission portal: admission.jmi.ac.in.

In its announcement, the university stated: “Online applications are invited for admission to Ph.D. programs at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates seeking admission should submit their applications between 10.10.2024 and 30.10.2024.”

The deadline to apply for the PhD program is October 30, 2024. Details regarding the entrance test schedule will be released separately, the university confirmed.

In related news, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet to release the results for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 session. Candidates and advocates have called on UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar to expedite the announcement of the results.

To apply for the PhD program, candidates must first register on JMI’s admission portal. After creating a registration number and password, applicants will need to log in again with these credentials to complete the application form.
