Applications are being invited online for a Principal Project Associate position on a purely temporary basis for a sponsored project titled "Genome-Scale Metabolic Engineering For Enhanced Metabolite Production" with project code MLP045926.
The position requires a Master's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine, along with eight years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions, or a ME/M.Tech with six years of experience, or a doctoral degree with four years of experience.
Desirable qualifications include experience in mathematical modeling using MATLAB/Python, molecular biology techniques, and data analysis of genome sequences. The job entails creating and analyzing Genome Scale Metabolic Models, identifying strain design strategies for metabolic engineering, and integrating multiple data types for context-specific model building. The consolidated emoluments per month are 49,000/- plus HRA.

Qualifications Details for CSIR-NCL Recruitment 2024
- Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- Eight(8) years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services; OR ME /M.Tech in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with Six(6) years’ experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations and Scientific activities and services; OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology/Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent; and Four(4) years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
