Qualifications Details for HCSL Recruitment 2024
- Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks from a recognized University
- Minimum of two years post qualification experience in a Ship Building Company or Ship Repair Company or Marine related Company or Port or Engineering Company or Government Company or Establishment or Semi Government Company or Establishment.
Age Limit for HCSL Recruitment 2024
- The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 30 years as on 31.08.2024 i.e., applicants should be born on or after 01.09.1994.
- Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen shall be as per Government of India Guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 45 years.
Pay Scale for HCSL Recruitment 2024
For the first year, the consolidated pay is ₹37,000 per month. In the second year, the consolidated pay increases to ₹38,000 per month, with an additional ₹3,000 per month for extra hours of work. For the third year, the consolidated pay rises to ₹40,000 per month.
Selection Process for HCSL Recruitment 2024
- The selection process for the Project Officer positions on a contract basis will be as follows: Candidates will be evaluated through an Objective Type Test, which accounts for 50 marks, and a Personal Interview worth 20 marks. Additionally, relevant work experience, assessed by the selection committee during the interview and presentation, will contribute 30 marks. The total available marks for the selection process is 100.
- The Objective Type Test, which will be conducted offline at HCSL, will depend on the number of applications received. The allocation of examination centers will be determined solely by HCSL. The test will last 60 minutes and consist of 50 Multiple Choice Questions, divided into General Knowledge (10 marks) and Subject-Based (40 marks) categories.
- Each question is worth 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking. Results for each post will be compiled based on the marks obtained in the Objective Type Test. For unreserved posts, the minimum passing marks are set at 50% of the total marks for the Objective Type Test.
