Eligibility Criteria

B.A. (Hons.)

• An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

• The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three of the best elective subjects.

• The applicants must have studied and passed the [subject] in the qualifying exam for admission to B.A. (Honours) in that subject.

B.A.

• An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

B.Com (Hons.)

• For admission to B. Com. (Hons.), it is required to have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics in the qualifying examination.

• The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which includes one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible, applicants must have achieved an aggregate of 45% or more in English/Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce.

• 45% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam

B.Com

• An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

• Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations, which include one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible for selection, applicants must achieve an aggregate of 50% or more in English/ Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/Commerce.

B.Sc.(Hons)

• For admission to B. Sc. (Hons.), it is required to have studied and passed Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology in the qualifying examination.

• The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which includes one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible, applicants must have achieved an aggregate of 50% or more in English/Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

• 50% aggregate marks in the last qualifying exam

• Candidates must secure at least 60% marks in the subject they are interested in applying for honours.

B.Sc.

• An aggregate of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.

• Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations, which include one language and the three best subjects. To be eligible for selection, applicants must achieve an aggregate of 50% or more in English/ Bengali and a combination of the best three subjects, which may include Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
