UPSC Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
Specialist Grade III (Cardiology):
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
- Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A Schedule VI of CHS Ruls from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Cardiology); or Diplomate National Board (Cardiology).
Specialist Grade III (Nephrology):
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
- Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI of CHS Rules, i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Nephrology); or Diplomate National Board (Nephrology).
Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute
Scientist ‘B’ (Earth Sciences): Master’s Degree in Earth Science/ GeoPhysics/Physics/ Geology/ Oceanography from a recognized University or Institute. NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Scientist ‘B’ (Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering): Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
Assistant Director (Official Language): Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master’s Degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; Or Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of a examination at the degree level; Or Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of a examination at the degree level; Or Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
Application Fees for UPSC Recruitment 2024
- Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
- No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
- Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2024
- Date For Determining The Eligibility Of All Candidates In Every Respect Shall Be The Prescribed Closing Date For Submisison Of Online Recruitment Application (Ora). The Applicants Are Advised To Fill In All Their Particulars In The Online Recruitment Application Carefully As Submission Of Wrong Information May Lead To Rejection Through Computer Based Shortlisting Apart From Debarment By The Commission
- Date For The Interview On Which The Shortlisted Candidates Are Required To Bring The Printout Of Their Online Application Alongwith Other Documents At Upsc Shall Be Intimated Separately
