Tripura PSC Recruitment 2024
The Tripura Public Service Commission (Tripura PSC) has announced recruitment for 224 General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) posts for 2024. Eligible candidates must hold a medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, complete their internship, and have permanent registration with a state Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
The age limit for applicants is up to 40 years as of October 19, 2024, with age relaxations available for SC/ST/PH candidates and government employees. The selection process includes a written examination worth 85 marks (MCQ-based, 2 hours) followed by a personality test/interview for 15 marks.
Interested candidates are required to apply online through the Commission's official portal between September 10 and October 19, 2024. Applicants need to first complete a One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) to receive a User ID, which is used to submit their applications. Multiple applications should be avoided, and in cases of multiple submissions, only the most recent application will be considered. Qualifications Details for Tripura PSC Recruitment 2024
- A medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-Il of the Third schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part-ll of the Third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of internship and permanent Registration Certificate of any state Medical council/ Medical Council of India.
Age Limit for Tripura PSC Recruitment 2024
- Up to 40 years as on 19.10.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Government Servant.
- The Government employees belong to ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the General relaxation of 5 years available to them.
Selection Process for Tripura PSC Recruitment 2024
- As per service rule the Recruitment process will comprise of 02 (two) steps, viz -
- Written Examination: 85 marks (MCQ type, OMR based) and time allotted will be 2 hours.
- Interview/ Viva: 15 marks. For detailed syllabus of Written Examination (85 marks) & selection process please refer Health & Family Welfare Department Notification No. F.3(457)- HFW/2019 dated 26.10.2022
- 15 marks allotted for the Personality Test: The Test shall be to assess the personal qualities of the candidate's e.g. intellectual ability, social traits, interest in current affairs, critical power of judgment, variety and depth of interest, ability for leadership and moral integrity.
- Candidates will be called for the Personality Test on the basis of the result of the Written Examination in the following ratio, subject to attaining of minimum qualifying marks
How to apply for Tripura PSC Recruitment 2024
- Candidates will have to submit application through Online Application Portal only. The Commission will not entertain any hard copy application. Before submission of online application, read carefully the necessary instructions regarding filling up of online application.
- Online Application Portal will be available on Commission's website from 10.09.2024 to 19.10.2024(5.30 PM). Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio- data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's Website viz. https://tpsconline.in or through the link provided in https://psc.tripura.gov.in Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through Commission's website.
- Applicants should avoid submitting multiple applications. However, if due to any unavoidable circumstances, any applicant submits multiple applications then he/she must ensure that the application with latest Receipt Number is complete in all respects.
