The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh is inviting applications for the position of Lab Technician. There is one vacancy available, with a monthly salary of Rs. 16,926. To qualify, candidates should hold a BSc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), recognized by the State or Central Government.

Qualification for PGIMER Recruitment 2024
- BSc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)/ BMLS OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory technology (DMLT)/ DMLS with course duration of at least 2 years. Recognized by State Government/Central Government.
- Two years of experience of working in diagnostic laboratory for those with BSc./Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology(course duration of 2 years)
- One year experience for those working in diagnostic laboratory for candidates having MSc. In Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Candidates with experience of working in accredited labs or those labs who have applied for accreditation will be preferred.
Pay Scale for PGIMER Recruitment 2024

- The candidates should submit their application on plain paper with contact details (email-ID & mobile no.) and passport size photograph along with attested copies of their certificates to the laboratory of Incharge, State Reference Laboratory, Department of Immunopathology (Room No.-33, 4th Floor, Research Block 'A', PGIMER, Chandigarh) on or before 11:00 A.M. on 21.09.2024.
- In case the number of eligible candidates exceeds five times the number of vacancy, then a written screening test would be held on 24.09.2024.
- The list of eligible candidates for written exam after scrutiny of all applications would be put on the department's NOTICE BOARD and PIMER Website on 23.09.2024.
- The list of qualified candidates after written screening test will be displayed on the department's Notice Board as well as on PGIMER website on 25.09.2024.
- The qualified candidates will be interviewed in the office of Head of Department, Immunopathology, 4th Floor, Research Block-A, PGIMER on 27.09.2024 at 11:30 A.M.
