Qualifications Details for OIL Recruitment 2024
- Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
- Trade certificate in Fitter trade from Government Recognized Institute.
- Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in maintenance of Centrifugal pump sets/ Reciprocating pump set & Rotary pump set / Iron Removal (IR) filters/ Fabrication / operation and maintenance of water /gas pipeline jobs /Water Supply set up/ maintenance of mechanical workshop setup or Installation/ maintenance crude oil storage tank / RCC water storage tank in Govt. / Semi Govt./ PSU / Public Limited Organizations.
- Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
- Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanic Trade from Government Recognized Institute.
- Minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in maintenance of diesel or gas engines/ reciprocating or centrifugal pump sets/ reciprocating or rotary air compressors in Govt. / Semi Govt./ PSU / Public Limited Organizations.

Pay Scale for OIL Recruitment 2024

- TA/DA will not be provided to any candidate(s) for appearing in the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment(s).
- Any false/fake/incorrect declaration given and/or information/details furnished and/or document(s)/ certificate(s)/testimonial(s) submitted and/or any adverse report of character and antecedents detected at any stage/time under any circumstance shall be verified from appropriate authority and necessary action as deemed to be fit will be taken in this regard.
- If a candidate is found guilty of either of the following mentioned hereunder, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will also be liable to be disqualified for the above contractual engagement for which he/she is a candidate and to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or test conducted by OIL i.e. (i) using unfair means (ii) impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person (iii) misbehaving (iv) resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection (v) obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means.
- Canvassing in any form whether directly or indirectly shall amount to rejection of candidature.
- Engagement of the selected candidate(s) will be subject to necessary pre-engagement formalities viz. document/certificate/testimonial checking, submission of required document/ certificate/testimonial, medical fitness certificate etc. The candidates should be of sound health and has to submit a fitness certificate meeting the medical standards as prescribed in the Physical Fitness criteria available on OIL’s website from a government registered medical practitioner at the time of engagement.
Walk-in Details for OIL Recruitment 2024
- For Contractual Assistant Fitter, registration will be on 20/08/2024 from 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M., and the test will also be held on 20/08/2024 at the Employee Welfare Office, Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam.
- For Contractual Assistant Diesel Mechanic, registration will be on 22/08/2024 from 07:00 A.M. to 09:00 A.M., and the test will be conducted on the same day. If the number of candidates exceeds capacity, assessments for remaining candidates will be carried over to subsequent days.
- Candidates must register between 07:00 A.M. and 09:00 A.M. on their scheduled date, as registration beyond these times will not be permitted.
- Candidates need to bring a completed Personal Bio-Data form, a recent 3cm x 3cm colored photograph, and original as well as self-attested photocopies of various documents including valid identity and address proofs, educational certificates, work experience certificates, caste and disability certificates (if applicable), income and asset certificates for economically weaker sections (if applicable), and a No-Objection Certificate from the current employer if employed.
- Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements specified in the advertisement; those who do not will not be allowed to participate.
- During the test, the information provided will be verified against original documents, and only those who meet the eligibility criteria will be permitted to proceed.
- The Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment will follow the registered candidate list, and a minimum pass mark of 50% is required. Final selection will be based on merit according to the marks obtained in the assessment.
