Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC) is conducting recruitment for various posts including Junior Grade of Mizoram Civil Service, Police Service, Finance & Accounts Service, and Information Service with a total of 34 vacancies. The salary ranges from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,24,500 per month, and candidates aged between 21 and 35 years as of August 1, 2024, are eligible to apply.
Applicants must possess a degree from recognized universities, be citizens of India, and have permanent residency in Mizoram or ancestral ties to the state. Computer proficiency is not mandatory initially, but must be acquired during probation. Candidates awaiting final exam results or undergoing professional qualifications are also eligible.

Qualification for Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024
- The candidate must possess at least a degree from any of the Universities recognized by an Act of the Parliament or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed Universities under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or foreign Universities approved by the Central Government.
- Computer proficiency is not required at the time of submitting the application form. However, as per the "Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Service/ Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023," the prescribed computer proficiency must be acquired during the probation period.
- Failure to do so may result in debarment from confirmation.
- The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Mizo Language of at least Middle School standard.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5-7 of the Constitution.
- Permanent residency in the State of Mizoram is mandatory. However, eligibility extends to candidates whose parents or any of their ancestors in direct lineage are permanent residents of Mizoram, provided proper documentary proof such as enrollment in the Electoral Roll and Birth Certificate is provided.
- Candidates awaiting results of their final examinations from recognized Universities are allowed to appear in the Preliminary examination.
- However, they must provide proof of passing the requisite examination when applying for the Main examination.
- This proof should be dated earlier than the closing date for submission of Main examination applications.
- Candidates who have passed the final professional M.B.B.S or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their internship by the time of application submission can be provisionally admitted to the examination.
- They must submit a certificate from the concerned authority of the University/Institution confirming their passing of the final professional medical examination.
- Original degree or a certificate of completion of all requirements (including internship) must be produced during the interview.
- In exceptional cases, candidates lacking the aforementioned qualifications may be considered eligible if they have passed examinations conducted by other institutions, the standard of which, in the opinion of the Commission, justifies their admission to the examination.
- Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees are also eligible for admission to the examination
Age Limit for Mizoram PSC Recruitment 2024
- The candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age as of 1st August, 2024.
- However, certain relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable for candidates belonging to specific categories such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Disabled Defence Services personnel, Ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECO)/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCO), and persons with benchmarked disabilities, as per the relevant notifications and amendments published in the Mizoram Gazette.
- Without such relaxations, the upper age limit cannot be exceeded.

Payment of the fees prescribed by the Commission is mandatory for all applicants, except for Persons with Disabilities who are exempted from paying application fees.
