IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2024 Notification Out IIT Project Fellow or Research Associate or Project Associate Vacancies , Check Eligibility at iitr.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy is seeking applications from Indian nationals for project positions under the guidance of Prof. Arun Kumar. The project, "Paving the way forward for PSP development," sponsored by the International Sustainable Energy Foundation, requires candidates for two positions: one in field investigation and another in business model development.
The qualifications vary for each position, ranging from Ph.D. to B.Tech with relevant experience. Emoluments range from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month. The duration of the project is 1 year or up to 15 months.

- Applications are open to Indian nationals for project positions at IIT Roorkee. We are seeking candidates for the following roles
- One position for Project Fellow/Research Associate/Project Associate specialising in field investigation.
- One position for Project Fellow/Research Associate/Project Associate focusing on business model development.
Qualification for IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2024
- Project fellow: Ph.D. in Civil/Mechanical/ Hydropower Engineering/ Engineering Geology or related areas OR
- M Tech in Civil/Mechanical/ Hydropower Engineering/ Engineering Geology with 3 years’ experience or related areas OR B Tech in Civil/Mechanical/ Hydropower Engineering/ Engineering Geology with 6 years’ experience
- Research Associate: M. Tech in Civil/Mechanical/ Hydropower Engineering/ Engineering Geology
- Project Associate: B Tech in Civil/Mechanical/ Hydropower Engineering/ Engineering Geology
- Positions in Field Investigation should have exposure and experience in hydropower or pumped storage related to topographical, hydrological, geological investigations.
- Position in business model, should have exposure and experience in finance, policy and regulatory affairs of electricity and storage.

Selection Procedure for IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2024
- Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
- Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

- Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
- Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their applications with the following documents to the office of Principal Investigator through email, by post or produce at the time of Interview
- Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certificates obtained.
- Experience including research, industrial field and others.
- Attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate.
- Candidates shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification.
- The last date for application to be submitted to the office of Principal Investigator is May 10, 2024 by 5 PM.
