IGNOU ODL Admission 2024: Documents required

Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents while applying for the IGNOU ODL, Online programmes:

  • Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)

  • Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)

  • Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)

  • Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)

  • Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC, ST, OBC (less than 200 KB)

IGNOU UG Courses and Eligibility Criteria 2024

Courses

Eligibility Criteria

BA Tourism Studies (BTS)

Class 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU.

B.Lib.I.Sc

Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories

OR

Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma (one year) in Library Science OR

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of working experience in Library and Information Centre.

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Class 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU to be eligible.

BA

Passed 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU.

B.Com

Passed 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU.

BSc (General)

Passed 10+2 with science subjects or its equivalent..

Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP)

Candidates need no formal education. They need to be at least 18 years of age.

B.Ed

Minimum aggregate of 50% in Graduation and/or Post-graduation in Sciences/Commerce/Humanity/Social Sciences. B.E/B.Tech with specialisation in Mathematics and Science with 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.

Candidates are also required to be trained in-service teachers in elementary education or complete an NCTE-recognised teacher education programme.

B.Sc Nursing Post Basic (BScN(PB)

Class 10+2 with a 3-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with at least 2 years of work experience

OR

Certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery.

IGNOU UG Admission Process 2024

  • Candidates must make sure that they clear the IGNOU eligibility requirements for UG admissions 2024.

  • Candidates must fill out and submit the IGNOU registration form for the specific session (January or July).

  • IGNOU UG admissions 2024 will be granted directly on the basis of marks obtained at the Class 10+2 level. No separate entrance exams for the same.

  • Admission to the B.Ed course will be granted based on a national-level IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam conducted by the university.

  • Candidates who fulfil the minimum marks requirements for IGNOU UG admissions 2024 must submit the application form within the deadline and pay the course fees.

Steps to Fill IGNOU Registration Form 2024:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the IGNOU admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

  2. Register for an Account: If you are a new user, click on the “Register” button to create an account. Provide your email address and mobile number to receive login credentials.

  3. Log In: Use your registered email ID and password to log in to the admission portal.

  4. Select Program: Choose the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) or online program you wish to apply for.

  5. Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, and program-specific information.

  6. Upload Documents: Upload the required documents such as educational certificates, photographs, and identity proof as per the specifications provided.

  7. Pay the Application Fee: Make the payment for the application fee through the available online payment methods.

  8. Review and Submit: Review all the details entered in the form to ensure accuracy. Submit the application form after confirming that all information is correct.

  9. Download Confirmation: After submission, download and print the confirmation receipt for future reference.
