Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) has released a new recruitment notification for the position of Technician Apprentices, offering one vacancy with a stipend of Rs. 8000. Candidates must hold a Diploma in Commercial Practice with a minimum of 60% marks, relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates.

Eligible applicants should not have completed more than five years after passing the examination and should not be undergoing any Apprenticeship training. Selection will be based on shortlisting through percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification, followed by document verification and interview.

Interested candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying and should submit their applications through the NATS portal. Original certificates must be produced during document verification, failing which candidature will be rejected. Any false information provided will result in cancellation of candidature. Qualification for HOCL Recruitment 2024

• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Commercial Practice
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
• In cases where candidates meeting the stipulated criteria are unavailable, those with a minimum of 50% marks will also be considered.
• For SC/ST candidates, the requirement of first class/60% marks is relaxed to second class/50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates should not have completed more than five years after passing the examination.
• Individuals who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act in any Government, Public Sector, or Private industrial organisation are ineligible to apply.
• Reservation guidelines under the Apprentices Act will be followed.
• The category/reservation claimed during the initial online application submission will be considered.
• Relevant certificates supporting the claimed category/reservation must be provided at the time of document verification, failing which the claim will be considered under the 'General' category.
• Candidates should meet the minimum physical standards as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and any subsequent amendments.
• Selected apprentices will be offered accommodation at standard rent and subsidised canteen facilities.

Selection Procedure for HOCL Recruitment 2024

• Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification.
• The short listed candidates will be called for verification of original certificates/documents followed by Interview.

How to Apply for HOCL Recruitment 2024

• Candidates are advised to make sure that they are meeting the eligibility requirements as per the vacancy notification before submitting the applications.
• Candidates short-listed for the certificate verification should bring the original certificates towards the proof of age, qualification, caste, disability (if any) etc and self attested copies of all these certificates and their candidature shall be considered on the strength of the original certificates.
• In case of failure to produce the original certificates, the candidature shall be rejected.
• Call letters for Certificate Verification/interview shall not be sent to short-listed candidates by post.
• They shall be informed by e-mail or through HOCL website rnrww.hoclindia.com
• Mere submission of application through NATS portal and issue of call letter shall not confer any right to the applicant of acceptance of candidature or cannot be construed as an acknowledgement of fulfilling the eligibility criterion.
• Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, HOCL shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.
• lf at any stage it is found that any information furnished is false/ incorrect or the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, the candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/ rejected.
