High Court Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Translator Vacancies, Check Eligibility at orissahighcourt.nic.in
The High Court of Orissa has released its Recruitment 2024 notification for the position of Translator, with 19 vacancies available. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400. Applicants must be between 21 and 32 years of age as of August 29, 2024, with age relaxations provided for SC, ST, SEBC, women, and PwD candidates.
The educational requirements include a Bachelor's Degree with English/Odia as an Honours subject and adequate knowledge in Computer Applications. The application process includes paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500, except for SC, ST, and PwD candidates who are exempted.

Qualifications Details for High Court Recruitment 2024
- A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or other qualification having English/ Odia as an Honours subject with adequate knowledge in Computer Application.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India and he/ she must – Have the requisite qualification(s) , Be of good character, Be of sound health and mind, good physique and free from any contagious or communicable disease and should not be with bodily infirmity of more than 50%, Not have more than one spouse living, if married, Not have any past criminal antecedent and / or record, Not have been convicted by any Criminal Court for offence involving moral turpitude , Not have been debarred by any Government, Court or Public Service Commission or any other Commission from appearing in any Recruitment Test
- A candidate who claims change in his/her name/ surname after having passed the High School Certificate / IOth Board Examination or equivalent examination, is required to furnish the copy of notification in the Odisha Gazette in support of his/ her change of name/ surname. Application having diHerence/ discrepancy with respect to name/ surname appearing in the certificates furnished by the candidates if not supported by the document as required above shall be rejected.
Age Limit for High Court Recruitment 2024
- A candidate must be above 21 (Twenty-One) years of age and below 32 (Thirty- Two) years of age as on 29.08.2024, i.e. he/she must not have been born earlier than 30.08.1992 and not later than 28.08.2003.
- Provided that, the upper age is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to the categories of SC, ST, SEBC & Women and by IO years for PwDs whose permanent disability is not less than 40'3'/b and not more than 50%. Persons with disabilities belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories are eligible to get cumulative age relaxation of 15 years i.e. 10 years under PwD category and 5 years under SC/ST/SEBC category.
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen candidates shall be made in accordance with the provision made under relevant Acts, Rules, Orders or instructions issued in that behalf by the State Government.
- Provided further that, Group-“C” and Group-“D” employees of the High Court if they are otherwise qualified to apply for the post shall be allowed maximum age relaxation of 5 (five) years.
- Provided further that, a candidate who comes under more than one category, he/ she will be eligible for only one age relaxation benefit, which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her.
Examination Fee for High Court Recruitment 2024
- A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only through online by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking system.
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from payment of examination fee.
- The Preliminary Examination/Test shall carry 150 marks in accordance with the Graduation Course on the subjects of General English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. In Preliminary Examination/Test there shall be 150 number of Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choice Answers.
Certificates/ Documents to Be Uploaded for High Court Recruitment 2024
- The candidates are required to upload clean & legible scanned copies of the
- following original documents:
- High School Certificate / IOu= Board Examination or equivalent certificate in support of proof of age.
- Certificate of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or other qualification having English/ Odia as an Honours subject.
- Certificate showing adequate knowledge in Computer Application.
- Certificate of good character from the Institution last attended or two certificates from two persons of repute (one of whom must be a Gazetted Officer) . A sample format of character certificate is appended herewith for reference.
- Recent passport size colour photograph. [The photograph must be clearly visible with proper orientation]
- Full signature of the candidate. [The signature must be clearly visible with proper orientation and in white background]
- Aadhaar card.
