The High Court of Bombay has announced its recruitment for the position of Part-Time Counsellor at its Aurangabad Bench. The role involves providing counselling services to individuals, children, and couples involved in matrimonial or other disputes, as well as pre-litigation matters.
Applicants must hold an M.A. in Counselling or Clinical Psychology and possess at least two years of relevant experience. Qualifications Details for High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024
- The candidate should have completed M.A. in Counselling/Clinical Psychology along with a 2 years' experience of working as a Counsellor.
- Preference will be given to those candidates who have additional qualifications such as having completed specialized courses in Couple and Family Therapy or demonstrating direct experience of working as a Couple/Family Therapist.
- Preference will also be given to candidates who have an experience of working in legal settings. Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi is preferred.
Job Responsibilities for High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024
- This position will entail working with individuals, children and couples who are currently undergoing matrimonial disputes or any other disputes and pre-litigation matters at High Court of Bombay, Bench at Aurangabad. The Counsellor will provide individual, couples and family counselling and also be responsible for documentation of the work.
- The Counsellor will be required to do counselling at the counselling rooms of High Court Mediation Monitoring Sub-Committee, Aurangabad or at any other place, subject to orders from the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay, Bench at Aurangabad or directions of the High Court Mediation Monitoring Sub-Committee, Aurangabad.
- The Counsellor will also be responsible for conducting group counselling. 4. Documentation of the work conducted at Sub-Committee is expected.
Duration for High Court of Bombay Recruitment 2024
The appointment for the post shall be on purely contractual basis for 1 year which may be renewed in the following year considering effective service of Counsellors. The panel of Counsellors will be revamped from time to time. The Counsellor (part-time) shall work for 3 hours and shall be called as and when the services are required.
