Qualification for ESIC Recruitment 2024
Super Specialist (Entry Level)/ Jr. Consultant (Full Time)
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in first schedule or second Schedule or Part Il of the third Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualification included in Part Il of the third schedule should also fulfill Subsection (3) of section 13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
- DM/DNB in the specialty concerned. Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience after qualifying DM/DNB in the specialty concerned.
- The qualification in the specialty should be a recognized qualification as per the provisions of IMC Act.
Specialist (Sr. Scale)
- A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in first schedule or second Schedule or Part Il of the third Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
- Holders of Educational qualification included in Part Il of the third schedule should also fulfill Subsection (3) of section 13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
- Post Graduate Degree in concerned specialty. Five years experience in concerned specialty after obtaining First Post graduate degree.
- Note: In case of holders of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M) or Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) qualification of five years' duration, the period of senior Post graduate residency rendered in the last part of said Doctorate of Medicine (D.M) or Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) shall be counted towards requirement of experience.
Pay Scale for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Super Specialist (Entry Level)/ Jr. Consultant (Full Time): Rs. 2,00,000/- (Consolidated remuneration) per month
- Specialist (Sr. Scale): Rs. 1,63,116/- per month
- Consolidated remuneration of the Medical Officers (except Si. No.1) includes NPA@20%, DA@50% & HRA@27%. The DA will be revised from time to time as per the ESIC Headquarters instructions.
Age Limit for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- Super Specialist (Entry Level)/Jr. Consultant (Full Time): 74Years
- Specialist (Sr. Scale): 69 Years
Application Fee for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- SC/ST/ Female Candidates, Ex-servicemen & PH candidates: NIL
- All other categories: Rs.500/-
- The application fee will be collected through online at the time of registration / screening.
Selection Procedure for ESIC Recruitment 2024
i) The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in the interview before the Selection Board.
ii) Result will be displayed on ESIC website.
iii) Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the offer of appointment.
iv) Upon selection, if the candidate fails to report on or before the stipulated last date of joining, his/her appointment stands cancelled and the next eligible candidate will be automatically be deemed selected.

- Application shall be downloaded from the website of ESIC viz. https://www.esic.gov.in/recruitments
- All the candidates should produce original documents in respect of all the parameters at the time of Reporting for Walk-in Interview.
- Reporting time for candidates is 09: 00 AM to 10: 30 AM on the day of the walk-in Interview.
