Employees’ State Insurance Corporation which is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, invites applications for immediate engagement of Teaching Faculty in the post of Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor in ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata – 700104.

ESIC Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject. Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a permitted/ recognized medical college/ institution. Should have at least four Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor) [only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered]. The author should be among the first three or corresponding author.
- Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject. As Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a permitted /recognized medical college/ institution. Should have two Research Publication [only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case series that are published in journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) will be considered]. The author should be among the first three or corresponding author.
- Assistant Professor: MD/DNB (Emergency Medicine) OR MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Resp. Medicine, Anesthesia, Orthopedics. As Assistant Professor for four years in Emergency Medicine or Subjects as mentioned above (General Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Resp. Medicine, Anesthesia, Orthopedics) in a permitted/ recognized/ medical college/institution.

Not exceeding 69 year on date of Document verification & Interview.

- All other categories: 500/-
- A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. I”, drawn after date of issue of advertisement on any scheduled bank payable at ‘Kolkata’ has to be submitted along with the Application Form.
Selection Process for ESIC Recruitment 2024
- The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the Selection Board.

Interested candidates should send filled in Application form enclosing necessary self attested copies of certificates as mentioned below, through email to [email protected] or physically by 07/02/2024 upto 04:00 PM to the Office of the Dean, ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka,Kolkata-700104 for document verification to become eligible for appearing in the Interview.
- The name of the eligible candidates and tentative date, time and venue of interview will be communicated in the respective email ID of eligible candidates as well as they will be asked to appear in the interview on the date mentioned in the Interview call letter to be sent by email only.
