The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the recruitment for a Security Inspector in 2024, with one available post. The position is open to candidates who are either working in or retired from the Delhi Police, specifically as Sub-Inspectors or Inspectors.
Applicants must have at least five years of experience in fieldwork, such as police stations or traffic duties, and must be free from disciplinary or vigilance issues. Candidates should be between 55 and 62 years old and can expect a pay scale of either Level-7 (₹44,900-₹1,42,400) or Level-6 (₹35,400-₹1,12,400) based on their previous service.
The selection process involves a personal interview and a medical fitness examination. Interested applicants need to submit their filled application forms, along with relevant documents, either through Speed Post or via email by October 1, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for DMRC Recruitment 2024
- The candidate should be working in/ retired from Delhi Police as Sub Inspector or, Inspector, and should have varied experience of working in last 5 years as Assistant Sub-Inspector or, Sub-Inspector in field, i.e., Police Stations or Traffic.
- The candidate should be free from D&AR and vigilance angle. The candidates, who are in regular service at present, shall also be considered eligible provided they opt for retirement from the service through VRS, or, otherwise, before joining DMRC.
- Pay Scale Eligibility Criteria: Candidates working in/ retired from Delhi Police in the CDA pay scale of Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400) (pre revised GP- 4600), or, Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400), (pre-revised GP-4200), on regular basis, having a minimum of 05 (Five) years’ experience as Assistant Sub-Inspector/ Sub-Inspector in field i.e., Police Stations or Traffic.
Screening Process for DMRC Recruitment 2024
- The selection methodology shall comprise of Personal Interview. For the purpose of grant of medical benefits, as applicable, the engagee shall have to undergo a Medical Fitness Examination. (The Medical Examination shall be in prescribed category as per applicable medical standard.
- The details of Medical Examination are available on the DMRC website). The selection process would judge different facets of knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness. Candidate will have to qualify the screening process and medical Examination, as applicable, before being adjudged as suitable for selection.
- Candidates who fail in the prescribed medical test will not be given any alternative employment and the decision of the corporation shall be final on this issue. - Schedule Of Selection: Last date of receipt of duly filled in application (along with relevant documents) through Speed Post, OR, email shall be 01/10/2024. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date shall be summarily rejected. DMRC shall not be responsible for loss/delay in post.
- The list of shortlisted candidates shall be uploaded on DMRC website in the Second week of October, 2024 (Tentatively) and interview shall be held in the Third week of October, 2024 at Metro Bhawan, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi OR through on-line mode (tentatively) (Complete details shall be displayed on DMRC website).
- No separate communication, by post, shall be sent to candidates individually. Candidates are required to go through the instructions / schedule for interview displayed on the DMRC website and appear for the interview accordingly.
- The final result will be declared by Fourth week of October, 2024 (Tentatively).

- The candidates presently employed in any Govt. Organization should send their application through proper channel along with the Vigilance and D&AR clearance in the attached pro-forma at Annexure-II, so as to reach the below mentioned address within the stipulated time.
