Chandigarh Education Department Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details
Candidates will be required to click "Recruitments" on the website i.e. https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/ to apply. Education Departmept, Chandigarh Administration invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 396 posts of Junior Basic Training (JBTS) (Primary Teacher, class-I-V) on a regular basis as per the following details
Chandigarh Education Department Recruitment 2024 Pay Scale
The Pay Matrix for the post of JBT is Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs.4200 (Level-VD) notified by Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department (Accounts Branch) vide notification no. 7000/15/8-F&PO(7)/2023/4354 dated 29.03.2023.
Chandigarh Education Department Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
The candidate should possess the essential qualification as on the Closing date of submission of application. Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE. Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in accordance with the Guidelines framed by NCTE.
Selection Process For Chandigarh Education Department Recruitment 2024
- Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in Objective Type Test.
- One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted. Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be conducted.
- All the candidates who will submit ONLINE application along with requisite fees on or before the closing date will be issued admit card to appear in the written exam without checking the eligibility conditions.
- After the conduct of the written test, answer key will be uploaded on website as per il. Markse farned by she candidates in written test willes. Marks obtained by the candidates in written test will be uploaded on the website.
- In case two or more candidates are having same marks in written test then a candidate having higher marks in Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed.) (whatever name known) will rank higher in the merit. Even then if two candidates are at same rank, the candidate older in age will rank higher in merit. Merit list prepared on the basis of marks in written test will be uploaded on the website and on the basis of said merit; candidates will be called for scrutiny of original document and checking of eligibility conditions.
- Candidates to be called for scrutiny of original documents under each category will be 1.5 times (one and half times) the number of posts under each category. Merit list for selection will be released after checking of eligibility conditions and ICT skill training certificates.

How to apply for Chandigarh Education Department Recruitment 2024
- Applications can be submitted only 'ONLINE' from 24.01.2024 (11.00 AM onwards) to 19.02.2024 (upto 05.00 PM) on the website i.e. https://www.chdeducation.gov.in/. However, last date to deposit the fee is 22.02.2024 (upto 02.00 PM).
- After submission of online application, registration form will be generated. Candidate has to take out two printouts of the registration form and the same has to be brought on the date of verification of documents (if name exists in Merit list) along with original and photocopy of all documents. Print out of the online application is NOT to be submitted either personally or through post.
