Qualification for Canara Bank Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Test of local language:
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the local language test. For other candidates, the test for knowledge of local language will be conducted as a part of selection process.
- It will be conducted when the candidate is called for Document Verification by the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged as apprentice.
Pay Scale for Canara Bank Recruitment 2024
A monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- (including subsidy amount, if any, by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship. The Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits. Canara Bank will make a payment of 10,500/- into the apprentices account on a monthly basis. Government share of Stipend of Rs 4500 will be Directly credited to the apprentices Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines
Age Limit for Canara Bank Recruitment 2024
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on the date of reckoning for eligibility i.e Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2004 (both days inclusive).

Selection Procedure for Canara Bank Recruitment 2024
- Candidates must register on the Canara Bank website under the Careers section for the Graduate Apprentice position for FY 2024-25.
- A merit list will be prepared state-wise based on marks/percentage from 12th Std (HSC/10+2) or Diploma Examination.
- In case of ties in percentage, candidates will be ranked by age in descending order.
- Candidates with CGPA/OGPA must convert it to percentage and provide a certificate from the relevant authority.
- The percentage is calculated by dividing total marks obtained by the maximum aggregate marks and multiplying by 100.
- The merit list is based solely on the information submitted in the online application.
- Discrepancies found during Document Verification will lead to disqualification.
- Document collection and local language tests will occur during Document Verification.
- Final selection depends on:
- Verification of eligibility and information provided.
- Qualification in the local language test for the chosen state.
- Medical fitness as per Bank requirements.
