Qualifications Details for BIS Recruitment 2024
- A Master’s degree in Statistics or Printing Technology is required, with a Ph.D. being desirable. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in industry or research/academic institutes.
- B.Tech or BE in Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology is required, with a Master’s degree being desirable. Candidates should have 2 years of experience in medical devices, advanced surgical devices, or healthcare informatics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential, with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering being desirable. Candidates should have 2 years of experience in various sectors such as earthmoving machinery, boilers, refrigeration, mining, or gas burning appliances.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering is required, with a Master’s degree in relevant disciplines and a Ph.D. being desirable. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in agricultural research or related fields.
- B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is necessary, with an MBA being desirable. Candidates need 2 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering sector.

Pay Scale for BIS Recruitment 2024
- A consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand only), fixed for one year, will be paid to the Consultants for SCMD Activities. The remuneration is subject to statutory deductions.
Terms And Conditions for BIS Recruitment 2024
- Candidates should note that, if at any stage of engagement, it is found that the candidates has submitted any false/fabricated information/documents, his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately and he/she will be liable for action as per Law/Rules.

Selection Process for BIS Recruitment 2024
- All the applications received shall be scrutinized and shortlisted. Candidates will be shortlisted in the light of their qualifications, experience and other details provided in the application form.
- Wherever the number of applications is large, the shortlisting of the candidates may be done based on the marks obtained in essential qualification or meeting desirable qualification etc.
- Mere fulfillment of qualification or shortlisting shall not confer any right to be engaged as Consultants for Standardization Activities.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for technical knowledge assessment, interview, etc. BIS reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
