Job Purpose for Air India Recruitment 2024
The Chief Ground Instructor will be responsible to ensure ground training quality and curriculum at the Air India FTO & for the AI Cadet Pilot Program per requirements of the DGCA CPL and the airline. The CGI will oversee all ground instructors, standardization of all ground training, and maintenance of training records.
Key Accountabilities for Air India Recruitment 2024

Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements for Pilot Ground trainings and examinations (DGCA, BCAS, etc.)

Supervise all ground instructors for pilot training and ensure standardization of all theoretical knowledge instruction for the Air India FTO & Cadet Pilot Program

Ensure instructor positions are filled appropriately basis knowledge, skills training, and experience for respective positions.

Exercise full functional and administrative control over pilot ground training curriculum, evaluation, scheduling, and record-keeping.

Conduct Standardization Committee meetings for maintaining training policies.

Ensure maintenance of all training aids, highlight deficiencies in training standards to Head, FTO and Director, Aviation Academy

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Ensure preparation and update training documents like SOPs, Aircraft-specific circulars, etc.

Oversee preparation of Cadet Pilot Training Curriculum for pilot ground training and ensure updates reflecting latest operating techniques, experience, instructions and DGCA regulations.
