AIIMS Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Scientist Vacancies, Check Eligibility at aiimsexams.ac.in
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Scientist at its Bilaspur campus. There are two vacancies available, with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 56,000 to Rs. 67,000. Eligible candidates for Scientist C (Med.) must have a postgraduate degree in relevant medical fields with varying years of R&D or teaching experience.
For Scientist B (Non-Med.), candidates should have a BE/B.Tech or higher degrees in relevant engineering or scientific disciplines, with required experience. The age limit for applicants is between 35 and 40 years. The appointment is on a contract basis for up to one year, extendable to three years based on performance and project requirements.
Candidates must submit a signed undertaking along with their application. The engagement does not guarantee a permanent position, and the contract may be terminated with one month's notice.

Qualifications Details for AIIMS Recruitment 2024
- Scientist C (Med.) - Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year of R&D / teaching experience in the required subject from a recognized university. Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with two years R&D / teaching experience in the required subject from a recognized university. MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from a recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree. BDS / B. V. Sc & AH degree recognized by DCI / VCI with 5 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after BDS / B. V. Sc degree.
- Scientist B (Non-Med.) - BE / B. Tech degree in relevant engineering subject with 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized university. 1st class Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized university 2nd class M. Sc. + Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
Terms and conditions for AIIMS Recruitment 2024
- One Year (12 Months) extendable up to 3 years, depending on the candidate’s performance review [by the Principal Investigator (PI)/ co-PI], requirement in above project and budget grant from the funding agency.
- At time of applying for above mentioned posts, the applicant shall be required to submit duly filled in and signed undertaking (as per annexure 2) along with application form (as per annexure 3)
- The engagement to the above-mentioned posts is purely on time bound contract basis and the competent authority reserve the right to dispense with the engagement, at any time without assigning any reasons.
- The engagement on the above-mentioned posts will automatically cease on the end date of engagement. The incumbent shall not have no right to claim for further engagement. In any case, whatsoever, any request/ representation in this regard will not be entertained.
- The engagement can be terminated during the tenure at any time by giving one month notice on either side. (the mandate of one month notice from either side will not be applicable competent authority desired to close Regional level VRDL).
- The appointment to above post will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Bilaspur/DHR or continued contractual appointment.
