The Zilla Parishad (ZP) Koraput has announced a recruitment drive for 167 Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) positions with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 8,880. Candidates must have at least a 10+2 qualification with computer proficiency, be fluent in Odia, and meet specific language requirements.
The age limit is between 18 and 40 years as of August 1, 2024. Selection will be based on marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with age and examination date serving as tie-breakers. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format by September 17, 2024, to the Chief Development Officer, Zilla Parishad, Koraput, either by registered or speed post. Incomplete applications or those with false documents will be rejected.

Qualifications Details for ZP Koraput Recruitment 2024
- The minimum qualification of the candidate should be 10 +2 pass or its equivalent qualification as notified from time to time by CHSE, Odisha with Computer proficiency.
- The candidate shall be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have
- Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject
- Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject
- Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above
- Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
Age Limit For ZP Koraput Recruitment 2024
- A candidate must have attended the age of 18 Years & must not be above 40 Years as on date 01.08.2024 (on the 1st day of the month during which the recruitment process starts viz. calling applications starts).
- Date of birth as recorded in the HSC certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent certificate issued by any recognized Board/ Council/ Indian University shall only be accepted.
Pay Scale for ZP Koraput Recruitment 2024
- The newly engaged GRS will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 7000, after successfully worked for more than Iyear & less than 6 years will get 8500/- per month and will get 8880/- per month after successfully worked for more than 6 years.
Selection Process for ZP Koraput Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 or íts equivalent examination. Marks secured in the fourth optional shall not be included.
- Provided that, in case two or more candidates secure the same marks without 4th optional in +2 or its equivalent examination, the candidate older in age as per date of birth in the HSC Certificate (within the stipulated age limit) will be placed above the younger.
- Further, if the age of two or more candidates is same, the candidate who has passed HSC examination earlier will be placed above the other in the selection list.

- Interested candidates may submit their application in the prescribed application format (Annexure-1) duly filled along with self-attested required documents to be submitted in a sealed cover super scribed "Application for the post of Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) of Koraput District" addressing to the Chief Development Officer-cum-E.O, Zilla Parishad, Koraput, At/Po- Koraput, Dist- Koraput, Pin-764020 through Registered and Speed Post on or before date 17.09.2024.
- Application found incomplete in any respect shall be rejected. Incomplete Applications, Applications enclosing relevant documents without signature shall be rejected without any notice and legal action will be initiated against the candidate who submits false/ fabricated documents in original should be produced at the time of verification.
- Application should be reach Chief Development Officer-cum-E.O, Zilla Parishad, Koraput, by Regd. Post/ Speed Post/ Hand latest by 17.09.2024 before 5.30PM.
- The Collector-cum-CEO reserves the sole rights to cancel or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof
