Qualifications Details for WII Recruitment 2024
- Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science, with a minimum of 20 years’ experience in environmental impact assessments and/ or compiling Wildlife conservation plans/ management plans/ action plans
- Demonstrated work experience/ expertise in elephant landscapes, terrestrial biodiversity assessment, aquatic biodiversity assessment, stakeholder consultation and management, humanwildlife interface issues, project design and coordination of multidisciplinary project team
- The Subject Matter Specialist will assist the team in preparing the Plan. He/ She will coordinate the project activities and ensure timely completion of project deliverables

Selection Process for WII Recruitment 2024
- Shortlisting of applicants for online interview will be based on essential qualification, age limit, UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE (JRFship/Assistant Professor), percentage of marks in Bachelors’/ Masters’/ Doctoral Degree, specialization relevance in Masters/ Doctoral degree, research experience (Publications, Paper Presented in Workshops/ Seminars/ Symposiums/Conferences), and extracurricular activities (as per WII rules).
- The shortlisting of candidates for online interviews will be conducted based on specific criteria. These include qualifications such as the possession of UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualifications, with a focus on the percentage marks obtained in post-graduation or bachelor's degree, relevance of specialization to the advertised post, research or work experience, and involvement in publications, conferences, or extra-curricular activities.
- Each criterion holds a weightage of 10 marks, with a total of 50 marks determining the selection of candidates for the interview process.
