• Graduate Apprentice (Electrical): Graduation in Electrical Engineering (04 years full-time course) from any Institute recognized by the AICTE.
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technology (03 years full-time course) from any institute recognized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education

The minimum age of the candidates should be as follows:

• Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) - Min. Age (as on 01.01.2024)- 22 years
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical) - 18 years

Selection Process for WBSETCL Recruitment 2024

• The List of candidates for Graduate Apprentice (Elect.) and Technician Apprentice (Elect.) obtained from the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/), who have applied for “West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited” from the establishment list in the said portal using their NATS login ID within 27.03.2024 (4.00 P.M.), will only be considered for subsequent selection procedure
• The selection shall be made based on merit (i.e. based on overall percentage (%) of marks secured in the qualifying examination) from the list of registered candidates, downloaded from the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/).
• them subject to verification and checking at later stage. Hence, it is necessary that the applicants should furnish accurate, full and correct information during registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/). Furnishing wrong / false / incomplete information will lead to disqualification and WBSETCL will NOT be responsible for any consequence arising out of furnishing such wrong / false information by the candidate.
• The short-listed candidates will be called for document verification at Corp. Office of WBSETCL at Vidyut Bhawan, Salt Lake on the date & time, as to be intimated to him/her in his/her email id, registered with the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/). Failure by candidates to attend the document verification on the date & time at the venue will be treated as their unwillingness to accept the selection procedure for the Graduate Apprentice (Elect.)/ Technician Apprentice (Elect.) under WBSETCL and those candidates will not be considered in further Selection Procedure
• Final selection of the candidates in each caste category will be made after verification of documents as per vacancy details mentioned above.
• The selected candidate will have to sign contracts of apprenticeship training with WBSETCL through online mode as per rules of the BOPT on the scheduled date, time & venue to be intimated in his/her registered email. If any of the selected candidates does not turn up for singing up the contract of apprenticeship training, his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith without any further reference

How to Apply for WBSETCL Recruitment 2024

• The Candidates, who have passed the Graduation/Diploma in Electrical Engineering stream in the year 2021, 2022 & 2023, are only eligible to apply
• Only candidates, who will enrol themselves with the National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) and apply for “West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited” from the establishment list in the said portal using their NATS login ID within 27.03.2024, will be considered for selection as Apprentices.
• Candidates, who have previously undergone or are presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training or are presently in employment elsewhere, are not eligible to apply
• The interested eligible candidates are required to register themselves in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) and apply for ““West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited” from the establishment list in the said portal using their NATS login ID within 27.03.2023 (upto 4.00 P.M.). The candidates are required to update their details in the NATS portal, especially the Name, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, Percentage of Mark, Father’s Name, Community/Caste and Year of Passing.
• Only candidates, who will enrol themselves with the National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) and apply for “West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited” from the establishment list in the said portal using their NATS login ID within 27.03.2024, will be considered for selection as Apprentices.
• Last date of application via National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (https://nats.education.gov.in/) - 27.03.2024 (4.00 P.M.)
