Qualification for WB Health Recruitment 2024

Medical officer :

• MBBS Degree from MCI recognized institution with one year complete internship.
• Must be registered under WBMC. Weightage will be given for higher qualification.

General duty medical officer :

• MBBS Degree from MCI recognized institution with one year complete internship.
• Must be registered under WBMC. Weightage will be given for higher qualification

Medical officer:

• MBBS Degree from MCI recognized institution with one year complete internship.
• Must be registered under WBMC.
• Preference: Preference will be given for PG Degree / Diploma in G&O or Paediatrics

Medical social worker :

• Essential Qualifications: Graduate degree (BA/ B.Sc/B.Com) from any recognized University -
• 1 year diploma in Computer Application from any reputed organisation.
• Computer Knowledge Required:-
• Operating System- Windows XP & Windows 7,
• Office Automation - MS Office 2010 especially MS Excel, Powerpoint & MS Word.
• Internet - Thorough working experience in Internet explorer or any equivalent browser such as e-mailing & web-browsing

Staff nurse :

• GNM /BSC Nursing from any Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• The candidate should have proficiency in the local language.

Community health assistant (URBAN) :

• Must have passed ANM course from an Institute recognized by Indian Nursing council and be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council should be proficient in Bengali and permanent resident of the Bankura District. OR
• Must have passed GNM course from an Institute recognized by Indian Nursing council and be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council.
• Should be proficient in Bengali and permanent resident of the Bankura Dist.

Clinical psychologist :

• Having a recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology from an Institution approved and recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India or Post Graduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology and a Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology

Senior tuberculosis laboratory supervisor (STLS) :

• Graduate with DMLT or BMLT from recognised Institute .
• Well conversant with various computer programming including MS Word, Excel.
• Permanent two wheeler driving license & should be able to drive two wheeler.
• Preference: Minimum 1 year experience in any National Health Programme.

Programme assistant :

• Graduate from any recognised university and have completed at least 1 year
• Diploma/certificate in Computer Application from govt. registered institution.
• Working knowledge of computers with operating knowledge of MS word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS -Access and Internet.
• Having a Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• Essential Experience:-Minimum 3 years experience in govt. sector or 5 years in the private sector in data recording and data analysis.
• Preferably having experience in handling official correspondences.

Multi Rehabilatation worker :

• Bachelors in Physiotherapy with at least 2 years working experience in a hospital.
• Master Degree in Physiotherapy.

Counsellor :

• Post Graduate degree in Psychology /Social work/Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development from any Government recognized Institution.
• Working Knowledge of Computers.
• One year experience in blood banking counselling in any Licensed Blood Bank or other medical counselling after obtaining essential qualification.

Pharmacist :

• The candidate should have a two year diploma in pharmacy (D-Pharma) (ALLOPAHIC) recognised by the Government of West Bengal and registered "A" category pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Weightage will be given for higher qualification.
• The candidate must have proficiency in Bengali and must have efficiency in computers including MS Office and Internet.
• The applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal.

Counsellor :

• Graduation in Social Science from a recognized Institution.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, Knowledge of MS-Office and other computer skills required for office work.
• Fluency in local language both in writing and speaking
• Two years working experience in the Health Sector / Social Sector.
• Master Degree in social science from a recognized institution.
• Out of the essential two years experience, completed one year experience in counselling services at the health sector.

Counsellor - ICTC :

• Graduate degree holder in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human development/Nursing. OR
• Post-graduate in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human development/Nursing.
• If candidate is a person living with HIV/AIDS(PLHIV) Graduate degree holder in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human development/Nursing) with 1 year experience in counselling/educating under National Health Program.
• Knowledge & skill: The Candidate should be computer literate with working knowledge of MS office, usage of Internet and electronic mail.
• Familiarity with Government Health Policies and related programs and ability to work in team & flexible ways of working as per the need of programme.
• 3 years experience in counselling/educating under the National Health Program.
• Desirable experience of working under the National AIDS and STD Control programme (NACP) facility or Community settings
• 1 year experience after PG degree/Diploma in counselling/educating under NationalHealth Program.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.

The Applicant must have knowledge of local languages.
