Qualification for WAPCOS Limited Recruitment 2024
Team Leader :
- Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Post-graduate qualifications in management / engineering will be given more weightage.
- Experience: - Over 10 -15 years of experience in advising power distribution utilities in areas of project management, electrical infrastructure projects, Feeder Segregation, loss reduction, Distribution Transformer erection, HT/LT Pole Erection technology implementation, and commercial processes. - Proven project management, Contract Management,and Reporting skills. - He should be well versed in managing the electrical infrastructure contracts related distribution networks.
- He should have at least 10-15 years of professional experience on supervision/ construction of electrical infrastructure projects.
- The candidate should have a proven record of managerial capability through the directing/managing of major electrical infrastructure works.
- Knowledge of international ‘best practices’ in latest conditions of contract, construction, contract management and construction technology is important. - He should have previously worked as Team Leader or in similar capacity on at least two electrical infrastructures to any utility.
- He should not have any enquiries pending against him, and should not be involved in any criminal cases.
Project Engineer :
- Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Post graduate qualification in Electrical engineering will be given more weightage.
- Experience: - Over 5-8 + years professional experience on supervision/construction of electrical infrastructure projects - Experience in handling field quality issues, third party inspection of projects in area of Distribution Sector - Experience in handling technical specifications compliance issues of material used in Feeder Segregation, Distribution Transformer erection, HT/LT Pole Erection projects. - Knowledge and experience in similar works as well as contract management procedures appropriate for similar projects is important and He should not have any enquiries pending against him, and should not involve in any criminal cases
Site supervisor :
- Qualification – Diploma/ Degree in Electrical from a recognized university.
- Experience - Over 3-5 + years of experience in the power distribution sector - Experience in supervising / implementation of Distribution Sector Projects - He should have the knowledge of estimating, preparation and processing of the invoices, analysing rates, checking survey details, site supervision for erection testing commissioning of DTs, HT/LT poles, conductor erection etc. of the projects.
- He should not have any enquiries pending against him, and should not be involved in any criminal cases.
