Uttarakhand Forest Department Recruitment 2024 Qualifications Details
- M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Wildlife/Soil Sciences from a recognized University with 1"Division (at least 60% Marks).
- Good knowledge and skills in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc).
- Fieldwork experience in the field of forestry research with knowledge and experience in the identification of trees, shrubs, and herbs in the forest and measurement of inventory parameters of forest vegetation.
- Knowledge of GIS especially handling of GPS devices and basic knowledge of Geospatial Technologies.
- Physically fit for extensive travel and trek in the mountainous/ plain region.
- Research Articles published in a recognized journal. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Forestry/Wildlife related research and surveys and in Biodiversity related issues.

- 35 Years as of 01.01.2024 Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per Uttarakhand State Government rules.

- Emolument Rs.25000/-per month (fixed) or as revised by Govt. of Uttarakhand in future along with H.R..A. and traveling allowance as per Government norms.

How to Apply for Uttarakhand Forest Department Recruitment 2024
- Applications received will be scrutinized and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (either in-person or online) before the selection committee.
