UPSC Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- Assistant Director: Degree in Engineering in Civil/ Mechanical/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics disciplines from a recognized University with Three years’ experience in; OR Master’s Degree in Science in the subjects of Electronics/ Physics with two years’ experience in; OR B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Physics/ Electronics as subjects with Five years’ experience in;-Air Traffic Control with Aerodrome Control/ Approach Control/ Area Control rating; O Licensing of Aerodromes/ Flight Crew/ Air Transport; Or Management of Airside Operations of major/ International Civil Airport; Or Aircraft flying with Commercial Pilot Licence; Or Aircraft Flying in Defence Services; Or Flight operations department of a Schedules Airlines; Or Aerodrome Design and Planning.
- Scientist-B (Physical-Civil): Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute; and One year practical experience in the testing/ evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/ Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and Two years’ practical experience in the testing/evaluation of building construction materials employing physical methods of analysis in a recognized Laboratory/Institute.
- Administrative Officer: Degree of a recognized University or Institute.
- Scientist - ‘B’: Master’s Degree in Zoology from a recognized University.

Specialist Grade III: A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI of CHS Rules from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Urology); or Diplomate of National Board (Urology)
- Scientist ‘B’: Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a recognized University or Institute
Application Fees for UPSC Recruitment 2024
- Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
- No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
- Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
