Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (UPRVUNL) has announced vacancies for the positions of Mining Engineer and Geologist, with a total of 2 openings located in Dumka. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 82,000.
Candidates applying for the Mining Engineer position must possess a Degree in Mining Engineering or AMIE in Mining Engineering with a First-Class Manager's Certificate of Competency under the Coal Mines Regulations, 1957/2017. Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in Mining Engineering and a First-Class Manager's Certificate of Competency are also eligible.
For the Geologist position, candidates should have a Masters Degree in Geology from a recognized university or institution. The maximum age limit is 55 years as of January 1, 2024. Qualification for UPRVUNL Recruitment 2024
- Degree in Mining Engineering/AMIE in Mining Engineering from any institute approved/ recognized by the UGC, AICTE with yst Class Manager's Certificate of Competency under the Coal Mines Regulations, 1957/2017.
- Diploma in Mining Engineering from an institute approved by the State Council of Technical and vocational Education and Action a ta class velnagers Certificate of Competency under the Coal Mines Regulations. 1957/2017.
- Masters Degree in Geology from any Recognized University/ Institution.
Pay Scale for UPRVUNL Recruitment 2024
a. Mining Engineer: Consolidated Remuneration (Per Month) - Rs. 82,000/- (CPF, Pension and any type of retirement benefits are not admissible), HRA (Per Month) - Rs. 11,800/-
b. Geologist: Consolidated Remuneration (Per Month) - Rs. 80,000/- (CPF, Pension and any type of retirement benefits are not admissible), HRA (Per Month) - Rs. 10,000/-
c. Travelling Allowances :- For undertaking official journey outside the Place of Posting (Dumka):-
(i) 1st class or AC (lInd class)/2-Tier in Rail or AC Chair Car in Shatabdi/Rajdhani Express and AC Bus to such places which are not connected by Rail.
(ii) Reimbursement for Hotel expenditure maximum upto Rs. 2250/- per day and lumpsum amount Rs. 900/- per day against the food expenses and for local travels maximum Rs. 338/- per day will be paid.
Age Limit for UPRVUNL Recruitment 2024
Not more than 55 years as on 01.01.2024. However, superannuated employees from the Coal Sector with requisite qualification and experience may also apply with in maximum age limit of 65 years as on 01.01.2024 having valid Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner as per norms of DGMS.
Application fees for UPRVUNL Recruitment 2024
- Application cum processing fees is Rs. 1180.00(Rupees One thousand one hundred eighty only) (including GST) and is non-refundable.
- Candidate can pay the requisite application fee through RTGS/NEFT mode only. No other mode of payment except RTGS/NEFT is acceptable.
- Bank/Any other charges are to be borne by the applicant. Application cum processing fee, once paid will neither be refunded/transferred nor will be held in reserve for any other future selection process.
Selection Procedure for UPRVUNL Recruitment 2024
Candidates fulfilling the Essential Eligibility Conditions for the respective posts shall be called for the personal interview at specified date, time & place at Lucknow which shall be intimated through their registered Email ID and SMS. Candidate shall have to produce the original application form, proof of payment of application fee and following documents (in original) to the satisfaction of UPRVUNL/Vidyut Sewa Aayog and also submit their self attested photocopies before the interview
