The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, known as UPPSC, is the state agency responsible for recruiting individuals for entry-level positions in various Group A and Group B Civil Services in Uttar Pradesh. It operates under the authority granted by the Constitution of India.

1. Position: Deputy Secretary
2. No of Post: 01
3. Educational Qualifications:
An Officer who is regularly appointed in the pay scale Rs. 15600-39100/-, grade pay Rs.7600/- or equivalent pay scale and is working permanently in All India Services, other Central India Services, Central civil/ Engineering/Technical Services or other technical services of the State and Technical Institution/Undertakings of State or Central Government and possesses following educational qualifications:-
(a) M.E./M.Tech. (Computer Science), "C" level Certificate from D.O.E and experience of 07 years Or B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science) from recognized Institution/University Established by law and 12 years regular service Or M.C.A/M.Sc (Computer Science) from recognized Institution/University and 10 years experience.
(b) Complete Knowledge in software development in oracle/ingreess/ cybase, DB-2 etc. C/c Foxpro, RDBMS, use of equipments in Dos/Unix/Window base active environment. Knowledge of net working environment like novel and windows NT. Complete Knowledge of Web inbilled application development and Internet only will be eligible
4. Pay Scale: Pay Band Rs. 15600 - 39100/- Grade Pay- Rs. 7600/-
5. Age: Minimum 35 years and Maximum 55 years

Apply Online for UPPSC Recruitment 2024
- The advertisement is accessible on the Commission's website, https://uppsc.up.nic.in, where the online application system is available for candidates to apply against this advertisement. Applications submitted through any other method will not be considered, so candidates are strongly advised to apply online only.
- Here are the steps involved in the online application process:
- Visit the Commission's website and click on "ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS" to view the online advertisement automatically displayed for applicable vacancies.
- A list of advertisements where the online system is applicable will appear. Candidates interested in viewing a specific advertisement should click on "View Advertisement" and proceed to "Apply for Online Application."
- The online application consists of three stages:
- First Stage: Upon clicking "Apply," the Candidate Registration form will appear. Complete the Basic Registration form. After filling it out, review all entered information. If any corrections or modifications are necessary, click on the "Edit" button.
- Once satisfied with the provided information, click on the "Submit" button. This completes the first stage of registration. Afterwards, obtain a printout of the registration slip by clicking on "Print Registration Slip."
- Second Stage: After the completion of the first stage, the fee to be deposited (in INR) will be displayed with the option "Click here to proceed for payment." Upon clicking this option, the home page of the State Bank MOPS (Multi Option Payment System) will appear, offering three payment modes: (i) NET BANKING, (ii) CARD PAYMENTS, and (iii) OTHER PAYMENT MODES.
- Select any one of these prescribed modes to deposit the required online processing fee. Once the fee is successfully deposited, a Payment Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR) will be displayed, containing details of the online processing fee payment. Obtain a printout of the Payment Receipt by clicking on "Print Payment Receipt."
