Applications are being sought for the position of Project Fellow (Junior) - I for the UGC-DAE CSR project titled "Investigation on Magnetic and Magnetoresistance Properties of Co₂CrGe Heusler Alloy Thin Films for Spintronics Applications."
The post requires a candidate with an M.Sc. in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates), and preference will be given to those with experience in Magnetism, Electronics, and Thin Films, particularly in ultra-high vacuum DC magnetron sputtering.
Interested applicants must submit detailed bio-data and attested copies of required certificates by 6th May 2024. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the entrance examination/interview. Additionally, there is the potential for promotion to the position of CRS Project Fellow (Senior) with a higher fellowship from the third year onwards.

Qualifications Details for University of Madras Recruitment 2024

Pay Scale for University of Madras Recruitment 2024
The position entails a one-year duration, extendable annually up to a maximum of three years. The fellowship offered is 14,000/- per month along with HRA, consolidated. Notably, there is no provision for TA/DA to attend the entrance examination/interview. Additionally, a promotion to the role of CRS Project Fellow (Senior) is possible, with a monthly fellowship of 16,000/- plus HRA starting from the third year, contingent upon promotion.

The selected candidate is eligible to register for a Ph.D. degree at the Department of Nuclear Physics, University of Madras.
