The Department of Animal Biology at the University of Hyderabad, under the guidance of Prof. Jagan Pongubala, is seeking candidates for the position of Research Fellow sponsored by SERB: CRG/2022/008026. The laboratory focuses on investigating the molecular pathways governing the development of innate and adaptive immune cell types through a combination of genetic, molecular, and computational approaches.
The Research Fellow position requires a candidate with an MSc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry, with an aggregate of over 70% or a 7.5 CGPA from a reputable university. Experience in molecular biology and cell biology is advantageous. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, teamwork abilities, a willingness to learn new techniques, and explore novel scientific areas.
Applications are accepted until May 30, 2024, or until the position is filled, with interviews conducted in person or online for eligible candidates. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable for up to three years, with no entitlement to regular university employment.
