The University of Calcutta is seeking candidates for a Senior Research Fellow position funded by the SCHEME FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL AND ADVANCED RESEARCH IN SCIENCES (STARS-2) program of the Ministry of Education.
The position offers a monthly salary of Rs 35,000 plus HRA, with a duration of two years or until the project's completion, whichever comes first. Applicants must hold an M.Tech in Relevant Professional Experience (RPE) or an M.Sc in Electronic Science or Physics, with more than two years of research experience post-M.Tech/M.Sc.

Qualifications Details for University of Calcutta Recruitment 2024
- More than two years of Research Experience after M. Tech / M. Sc.
- Experience in fabrication and testing of UV LEDs (as evidenced by publications / reports)
- Experience of Growth of III- Nitrides using an Epitaxial deposition system (As evidenced by publication / reports)
- M. Tech (RPE) / M. Sc. (Electronic Science) / M. Sc. (Physics)/Or equivalent
