Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) is the entity responsible for power distribution in North Haryana. Owned by the Government of Haryana, it commenced operations in July 1999. The company's headquarters is located in Panchkula, adjacent to Chandigarh. The Chief Minister of Haryana serves as the head of this organization.

UHBVN operates through two Operation Zones: Panchkula and Rohtak. Each zone is overseen by a Chief Engineer. These zones comprise five circles each: Ambala, Yamuna Nagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, and Kaithal in the Panchkula Zone, and Panipat, Sonipat, Jind, Rohtak, and Jhajjar in the Rohtak Zone. Each circle is supervised by a Superintending Engineer.

Graduate Apprentice

• Qualification: B Com pass out of three years duration without any backlog. Basic Knowledge of Computer.
• No of Posts: 32
• Pay Scale: Rs. 9,000
• Age Limit: Not Eligible for Not completed the 14 years of age.

Selection Procedure for UHBVN Recruitment 2024

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualifications relevant to their respective trades. Those shortlisted will receive notifications through their registered email IDs.
• Shortlisted candidates must then appear for document verification. No reimbursement for travel expenses (TA/DA) will be provided for the document verification process.
• Upon the successful completion of document verification, candidates are required to submit a medical certificate issued by a qualified medical practitioner holding at least an M.B.B.S. degree and registered with the Medical Council of India. Additionally, candidates must execute an Apprenticeship contract agreement. Following these procedures, a letter of engagement will be issued to the candidates.
