Qualification for UCSL Recruitment 2024
- Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the trade of Painter or Electrician or Fitter. Experience: Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in the relevant trade.
- The minimum qualification stipulated for the post must be from an Institute / Examination Board recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority / State / Central Government.
- Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any of the prescribed qualifications should submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority and without such certificate, their candidature shall not be considered.

- 5th year - 23823/-
The posting shall be at UCSL. The appointment to the post carries with it the obligation to serve in any department of UCSL or on-board ships or in any of the units/work sites/ projects undertaken in any part of India or abroad as the case may be.
Age Limit for UCSL Recruitment 2024
- The upper age limit prescribed for the post shall not exceed 30 years as of 12 July 2024, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 13 July 1994.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates in posts reserved for them.
- The upper age limit shall be relaxable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen as per Government of India guidelines subject to a maximum age of 45 years.
Application Fee for UCSL Recruitment 2024
Application fee of ₹ 300/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 19 June 2024 to 12 July 2024. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
Selection Procedure for UCSL Recruitment 2024
- The method of selection shall include Phase I – Objective type offline test and Phase II Practical Test, as detailed under
- Method of selection and marks: Phase I: Objective-type offline test-30 marks Phase II: Practical Test -70 marks (Based on grades obtained in Practical test). Total 100 marks
- Depending upon the number of online applications, the objective type test shall be held at any place in UCSL Malpe or as decided by UCSL. The allocation of examination centre shall be at the sole discretion of UCSL.
- The Objective type Offline test shall be of 35 minutes duration comprising 30 Multiple Choice Questions and consists of two parts - General (Part A - 10 marks) and Trade related (Part B - 20 marks).
- Each question carries one mark. There shall be no negative marks.
- Candidates who successfully complete the certificate verification shall be shortlisted to attend the Phase-II Practical test at a later date. The Phase II Practical test shall be held at UCSL, Malpe.
- A mark list for the post shall be prepared based on marks secured by the candidates in the Phase-I -I Objective type online test. Candidates who score minimum pass marks and above in the Phase I - Objective test shall be short-listed for certificate verification.

- Applicants should not submit more than one application. Application once submitted shall be final.
