Uranium Corporation of India Limited was incorporated on 4th October 1967. It is a Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy with a special standing at the forefront of Nuclear Power cycle. Fulfilling the requirement of uranium for the Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors. UCIL plays a very significant role in nuclear power generation of the country.
UCIL is an ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & IS 18001:2007 company and has adopted modern technologies for its mines and process plants. The Company operates six underground mines (Bagjata, Jaduguda, Bhatin, Narwapahar, Turamdih and Mohuldih) and one open pit mine (Banduhurang) in the State of Jharkhand.
Ore produced from these mines are processed in two process plants located at Jaduguda and Turamdih. UCIL is also operating one underground mine and process plant at Tummalapalle in Andhra Pradesh. The Company has taken up expansion of some of its operations in Jharkhand and started pre-proiect activities to set up new mines and plants in different parts of the country. Qualification for UCIL Recruitment 2024
Mining Mate C
Intermediate with unrestricted Mining Mate Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under MMR- 1961. Candidate must possess 05(Five) years experience as Mining Mate in Underground Mechanised Metal Mines after obtaining Mining Mate Certificate of Competency
Blaster B
Qualification: Matric with unrestricted Blaster's Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS under MMR - 1961. Experience : Candidate must possess 03(Three) years experience as Blaster in a Underground Metal Mine after obtaining Blaster Certificate of Competency.
Winding Engine Driver-B
Qualification: Matric with Ist Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS. Experience : The candidate should have more than 03 years working experience as Winding Engine Driver in Metal Mines after obtaining Ist Class Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency out of which at least one year experience on a 75 HP Winder or more.
Pay Scale for UCIL Recruitment 2024
- Mining Mate-C: 29190-3%-45480/-
- Blaster-B: 28790-3%- 44850/-
- Winding Engine Driver-B: 28790-3%- 44850/-
In addition to applicable Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Common Allowances, etc. the selected candidates shall be entitled to inter-alia subsidized accommodation, medical facility, children education facility etc. as per company's extant policies/Rules and availability of the facility.
Age Limit for UCIL Recruitment 2024
- Mining Mate-C: 35 Years
- Blaster-B: 32 Years
- Winding Engine Driver-B: 32 Years
- Relaxation & concession in Age for EWS/SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBDs will be provided as per extant Government of India guidelines, issued from time to time.
- There is no age limit for employees serving in UCIL who otherwise fulfill all the prescribed criteria.
Selection Procedure for UCIL Recruitment 2024
- Depending on the response from the candidates to the advertisement they will be called for Written Test/ Trade Test/Personal Interview, as applicable.
- Decision of UCIL shall be final in this regard. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not confer any right in respect of the Written Test/ Trade Test/Personal Interview/ Final Selection, as applicable.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test/ Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
- Verification of original certificates with regard to Age, Educational Qualifications, Work experience, Scale of Pay, Category/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD status (as applicable) and other documents as asked for will be done only at the time of Written Test / Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
- UCIL reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify the Recruitment/Selection process, if need so arises, without assigning any reason.

- Application fees of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) need to be paid by the applicants belonging to General (UR), EWS & OBC (NCL) categories. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWBD & Female categories are exempted from payment of any application fees.
- Application Fees as mentioned above need to be deposited through Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'Uranium Corporation of India Limited' payable at State Bank of India, Jaduguda".
- Application Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Typed 'Application Form' in the prescribed format as mentioned above, giving full details along with a recent passport size photograph, self-attested copies of matriculation certificate for proof of date of birth and all other relevant documents such as Educational qualifications, Experience, Caste certificate, Income Certificate Medical Certificate in respect of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) and application fees as applicable, should reach to the Dy.General Manager (Personnel & IRs.) at the postal address given below on or before 30/11/2024.
