TSHC Recruitment 2024 Notification Out District Judge Vacancies, Check Eligibility at tshc.gov.in
The Telangana State High Court (TSHC) has announced recruitment for the position of District Judge with 12 vacancies. The salary for this role ranges from Rs. 1,44,840 to Rs. 1,94,660. Applicants must meet certain criteria, including obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Papers I and II of the written examination for eligibility for the Viva Voce interview.
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and physically disabled candidates need to secure at least 50% marks in the written exam for eligibility. The selection process involves a Viva Voce interview, with candidates called in a ratio of 1:3 to the available vacancies. Interested candidates must submit their applications offline along with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) payable to the Registrar (Recruitment), High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, by 13th June 2024.
The application submission started on 14th May 2024. Selection Process for TSHC Recruitment 2024
- The candidate applying for being appointed under Recruitment by Transfer, who secures not less than 60% of marks in Papers I and Il each in the written examination shall be eligible for Viva Voce carrying 30 marks.
- The Candidates belongs to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and physically disabled (40% and above), who secure not less than 50% marks in Papers I and Il each in the written examination shall be eligible for the Viva Voce carrying 30 marks.
- From among the successful candidates, the High Court shall call the candidates for Viva-Voce in the ratio of 1:3 of the available vacancies.
Pay Scale for TSHC Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited for appointment to Twelve (12) posts of District Judge (Entry Level), carrying the scale of pay of Rs.144840-194660 (as per the Recommendation of the Second National Judicial Pay Commission as on 01.01.2016) by transfer through a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination from among the Civil Judges (Senior Division) of the Telangana State Judicial Service, who have put in not less than five (05) years of qualifying service, as on the date of issuance of this notification.
Application Fee for TSHC Recruitment 2024
- The applications in the proforma below shall be accompanied by a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1000/-, (Rupees one thousand only)towards examination fee, drawn in favour of the Registrar (Recruitment), High Court for the State of Telangana, Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad.
- The applicants belonging to S.C and S.T. categories have to pay Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) towards examination fee. The application shall be appended with the photocopies of necessary certificates/documents attested by the concerned Principal District Judge/Unit Head/Head of the Office, in proof of their eligibility.

The applicants are requested to visit the website of the High Court for the State of Telangana to keep themselves updated on all steps/results until the completion of the recruitment.
- The Applications/Bio-Data in the Proforma prescribed below, accompanied by the demand draft, attested copies of proceedings of promotion as Civil Judge (Senior Division), latest Service & Conduct certificate (in original) and the caste certificate (in respect of SC and ST candidates) shall be submitted to the concerned Principal District and Sessions Judge/Unit Head/Head of the Office, not later than 5.00 pm on 13.06.2024.
