TSEdCET 2024 Application (Extended) at edcet.tsche.ac.in
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has extended the deadline for registration and submission of the online application form for TSEdCET 2024 until May 10, 2024. Registration for the TSEdCET 2024 commenced on March 6, 2024. Initially, the deadline for filling out the TSEdCET application form without a late fee was May 6, 2024. However, candidates now have until May 13, 2024, to submit their applications with a late fee of INR 250. Eligible candidates for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test can complete the application process online by visiting the official website at edcet.tsche.ac.in/TSEDCET/EDCET_ApplicationForm.aspx.

TS EdCET Eligibility 2024
To fulfil TSEdCET 2024 eligibility criteria candidates should meet the below-mentioned requirements:
Nationality/locality
- All candidates applying for the TSEdCET exam should be Indian nationals
- All candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as specified in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974
Age limit
- Candidates should be a minimum of 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which TSEdCET notification is out
- There is no maximum age limit required to appear for the TSEdCET exam
Educational Qualification
- All candidates should clear their graduation in BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BBM or post-graduation in the relevant subject or five-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other equivalent qualification with at least 50 percent aggregate marks. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ BC (A/B/C/D/E)/ PH category minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 40 per cent.
- Candidates securing a minimum of 55% marks in BE/ BTech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply
- Candidates who have cleared MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BL/ LLB/ BA (Languages)/ BOL and any other such professional course are not eligible for BEd admissions via TSEdCET

The TS EDCET 2024 application fee is Rs. 700 for General/ OBC category candidates and Rs. 550 for SC/ST category candidates.
