The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced new opportunities for recruitment in 2024. They are seeking applications for the position of Principal Advisor, with one vacancy available at the headquarters in New Delhi. The pay scale for this position is categorized as Pay Level-15 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with a pre-revised Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) scale of Rs. 67,000- A1@3%-79,000.
Selected candidates will also receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), etc., as per Government Rules. The maximum age for appointment on deputation shall not exceed 58 years on the last date of submission of applications in TRAI.

Qualification for TRAI Recruitment 2024
- Essential: A Master / Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Law/Science /Humanities from a recognized University/ institution or, Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, and possessing requisite experience in the relevant field.
- Desirable: Post Graduate Degree lil Management, Finance, Economics, Law, Encineering, Telecommunications or Commerce.
- Experience: Work experience in handling matters pertaining to economic policy formulation/ economic analysis/ economic administration/ tariff or price administration/matters related to finance or taxation.
