TPSC Recruitment 2024
Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has announced recruitment for the position of Associate Professor in Super Specialties under the academic grade pay structure. There are 18 vacancies available with a salary scale ranging from Rs. 1,31,400 to Rs. 1,43,600 per month, along with special allowances and other admissible allowances.
Candidates must possess a post-doctoral qualification in DM/M.Ch/DNB in the relevant super specialty subject, along with specific teaching and research experience as per NMC regulations. The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years, with relaxations applicable for specified categories.
The selection process involves evaluation through Academic Performance Index (API) and Interview, with API carrying 90 marks and the Interview 10 marks, totaling 100 marks. The online application portal opens from 18th June 2024 to 18th July 2024 (5.30 PM), and applications must be submitted through the TPSC website.

Qualification for TPSC Recruitment 2024
- In accordance with the TEQ Regulation of NMC, 2022 adopted for the Institutes of Super Specialty during transition period.
- A Post - doctoral qualification DM/M.Ch/DNB equated to DM /M.Ch-(for disciplines under the super Specialties group as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022 of NMC in the concerned subject and as amended by NMC from time to time.
- Assistant Professor for two years in the concerned subject from a permitted/ recognized medical college/ institution.
- Special training for three years in the respective Super Specialty subject in a teaching Institution / Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.
- Should have at least Two Research publications ( at least two as Asstt. Professor)(only original papers, meta-analyses, systematic reviews and case series that are published in journals included in medline, Pubmed, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ)will be considered).
- Should have completed the NMC recognized basic course in Medical Education Technology. Should have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated by NMC.
- And as amended by NMC from time to time.
Pay Scale for TPSC Recruitment 2024
Direct Recruitment in the scale of Revised Pay of Rs. 37,400/ - 67,000/-(Pre Revised) Academic Grade Pay Rs.9,000/-, Special allowances: Rs. 10,000/- pm, Other allowances, as admissible (Revised), Academic level: 13A of UGC, Entry Pay Rs 1,31,400/- with proposal of 03 (three) additional increment. i. e. with Entry Pay Rs. 1,43,600/- only.
Age Limit for TPSC Recruitment 2024
Upper Age limit is 50 years as on 18/07/2024. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC,ST,PH/PWD candidates and Government servants candidates as per TME(Administrative & Faculty) Service Regulation Rules, 2015 However, the SC/ST/Govt. Servant will not get the further relaxation of 5(five) years over and above relaxation of 5(five) years which they are already entitled to get as SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee for TPSC Recruitment 2024
Group-A Posts:- Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 350/-(Rupees three Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable
Selection Procedure for TPSC Recruitment 2024
Method of direct recruitment for Regular Super Specialty faculty Post (Associate Professor) : Selection through TPSC through Academic Performance Index (API) and Interview - API 90 Marks + Interview -10 marks, Total 100 marks.

- The last date of submission of online application is 18/07/2024 (upto 5.30 PM). The application (s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.
- Candidates will have to submit application through Online Application Portal only. The Commission will not entertain any hard copy application.
- Before submission of online application, read carefully the instruction to candidates.
- Online Application Portal will be available on Commission's website from 18/06/2024 to 18/07/2024 (5.30 PM).
- Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio- data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's Website viz. tpsc.tripura.gov.in.
- Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID.
- Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through the Commission's website.
