Qualification for TNPSC Recruitment 2024
Deputy Collector
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1)
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Preference given to candidates with National awards for physical efficiency.
Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes)
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Preference given to:
- First: Candidates with both B.Com. and B.L. degrees along with a Diploma in Taxation Laws
- Second: Candidates with both B.Com. and B.L. degrees
- Third: Candidates with either B.Com. or B.L. degrees along with a Diploma in Taxation Laws
- Fourth: Candidates with either B.Com. or B.L. degrees
Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Assistant Director of Rural Development
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Preference given to candidates with:
- Post Graduate Degree in Rural Services from Gandhigram Rural Institute
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Extension
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Sociology
District Employment Officer
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Preference given to graduates in Economics, Education, Sociology, Statistics, Psychology, and those with a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science and experience in industrial or personnel management or labour welfare.
District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services)
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or an Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Application fees for TNPSC Recruitment 2024
- The preliminary examination fee of Rs. 100 (Rupees One hundred only) should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment, unless exemption of fee is claimed.
- The main written examination fee of Rs. 200 (Rupees Two Hundred only) have to be paid by the candidates who have not claimed fee exemption, if they are shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on the results of Preliminary Examination and on receipt of such intimation from Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
