TNMAWS Recruitment 2024 Qualifications

• Assistant Engineer (Corporation): Must possess B.E. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or any other qualification considered equivalent.
• CMWSSB Assistant Engineer (Civil / Mechanical): Must possess a degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) of any university or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant. A Degree in Production Engineeing or Industrial Engineering awarded by the Anna University also recognized as equivalent to B.E., (Mechanical) for the purpose of appointment to the above said post. Provided that preference shall be given to persons who have acquired master’s degree in Public Health Engineering granted by an University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant. A pass in section A & B of the A.M.I.E. examination.
• Assistant Engineer (Municipality): Must possess B.E. degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or any other qualification considered equivalent thereto awarded by any University or Institution. etc
• Town Planning Officer Grade II / Assistant Engineer (Planning) (Municipality): Must possess a degree in Planning or Civil Engineering or Architecture or any other qualification considered equivalent thereto awarded by any Recognized University or Institution. Provided that preference shall be given to those who possess Master Degree in Planning.
• TWAD Board Junior Engineer: The licentiate in Civil Engineering or licentiate in Sanitary Engineering Diploma or D.C.E. awarded by State Board of Technical Examination and Training, Madras or any Diploma recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu as equivalent thereto for appointment under the said Government.
• Technical Assistant: Must possess a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent.
• Draughtsman (Corporation): Must possess a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent.
• Draughtsman (Municipality): Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Overseer: Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Town Planning Inspector / Junior Engineer (Planning) (Municipality): Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Degree in Planning or Diploma in Architecture from any institution: Provided that preference shall be given to those who possess Post Graduate Diploma in Town Planning.

TNMAWS Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit, “Others” [i.e., Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCMs) and BCMs] 32* years,
• Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Castes (Arunthathiyas), Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (OBCMs), Backward Classes (Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all categories.: No Maximum age limit

• Applicants should apply only through online mode in the Department’s website https://tnmaws.ucanapply.com
• The applicants shall not share the ID with any other person or agency.
• Applicants should select the name of the post for which the applicant wishes to apply.
• After the last date for submission of online application, the candidates are allowed to edit their online application during the Online Application Correction Window period as mentioned in this Notification.
• After the last date of Correction Window period, no modification is allowed in the online applications.
• The applications will be processed as per the details finally furnished by the candidates.
• It is the responsibility of the candidates and the Department has no liability for subsequent rejection of application caused due to editing the details already submitted in online application. Request / representation addressed to the Department for modification of claims in the online application, in any mode, will not be entertained. Hence, the applicants are instructed to fill the online application with utmost care and caution.
