TMC (Tata Memorial Centre) is conducting walk-in interviews for the position of Junior Research Coordinator, with one vacancy available. The qualification required is a B.Sc in Microbiology, Chemistry, Bio-Analytical Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Genetics, or B.Sc. with ADMLT from a recognized university. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field is desirable.
The responsibilities include DNA extraction and quantification, sample receiving and storage, agarose gel electrophoresis, data entry, among others. The salary ranges from Rs. 21,100/- to Rs. 54,000/-. The appointment will initially be for a period of six months or until the continuation of the project, whichever is earlier. The project focuses on controlling common cancers among women in North and North East India.

TMC Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- B. Sc in Microbiology/Chemistry/ Bio-Analytical Science / Life Sciences, / Biotechnology / Biochemistry /Zoology/ Genetics or B.Sc. + ADMLT from recognized university.
- Minimum 1 years' Experience in relevant field is desirable.
- DNA extraction and quantification from blood, Oral rinse & tissues,
- Blood, tissue, saliva and oral rinse sample receiving, storage and maintenance.
- Blood sample Separation, storage and maintenance, Bio bank storage system.
- Agarose Gel Electrophoresis
- Normalization & GWAS (Genome wide association study assay)

- Eligible candidates are required to attend the walk-in interview on April 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Room No. 205, 2nd floor, Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer, Sector 22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai - 410 210. They should bring their bio-data, original certificates, qualification certificates, experience certificates, photos, PAN card, etc., along with photocopies.
- The reporting time for the interview is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
