Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd (TMB) has announced vacancies for the positions of Deputy General Manager (Deputy CFO) and Assistant General Manager in the Accounts Department on a regular basis. For the Deputy General Manager position, candidates must be graduates in any discipline and Chartered Accountants by qualification, with ten years of experience in financial operations in the banking sector, including five years at the senior management level.
Assistant General Manager applicants should also be graduates and Chartered Accountants with seven years of relevant experience. The age limit for Deputy General Manager is between 45 to 55 years, and for Assistant General Manager, it's between 40 to 50 years as of March 31, 2024.

Deputy General Manager (Deputy CFO) for Accounts Department on regular basis
- Graduate in any discipline and Chartered Accountant by Qualification.
- Ten years of experience in overseeing financial operations in the Bank (of which five years should be at Senior Management level), preferably accounting and taxation matters. Work experience at Treasury/ Financial Management/ Risk Management / Credit Administration will be an added advantage
Assistant General Manager for Accounts Department on regular basis
- Graduate in any discipline and Chartered Accountant by Qualification
- Seven years of experience in overseeing financial operations in the Bank preferably accounting and taxation matters. Work experience at Treasury/Financial Management/Risk Management /Credit Administration will be an added advantage
Pay Scale for TMB Recruitment 2024
Deputy General Manager (Deputy CFO) for Accounts Department on regular basis, Assistant General Manager for Accounts Department on regular basis As applicable to Scale V officer (under new pay structure). No vigilance case or adverse observation from RBI/Statutory Authority, shall be pending against the candidate identified for appointment as the AGM.
Age Limit for TMB Recruitment 2024
Deputy General Manager (Deputy CFO): Minimum – 45 years and not more than 55 years as on 31.03.2024, Assistant General Manager: Minimum – 40 years and not more than 50 years as on 31.03.2024
Selection Procedure for TMB Recruitment 2024
- The shortlisted candidates should appear for interview. They will be called for personal interview through Direct / Video Conferencing.
- The mode of interview, date and time will be communicated to the eligible candidates individually.
