Prayas, a field action project of the Centre for Criminology and Justice at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai, is seeking applications for the position of Legal Fellow (Male Candidate) on a contractual basis for eight months, with a possibility of extension based on performance and fund availability. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of approximately Rs. 30,000.
Applicants must hold an LLB degree, possess a Sanad for practicing in Maharashtra, and demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and languages such as Marathi, English, and Hindi. Preference may be given to candidates with 2-3 years of legal practice experience. The Fellow is expected to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and during the contract period, cannot take up any other employment without prior permission.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, and no TA/DA will be provided for the interview process. Qualification for TISS Recruitment 2024
- LLB degree
- Sanad for practicing in Maharashtra
- Knowledge of computer skills. /Ability- read, write and speak in Marathi, English Hindi.
- Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, emails and the internet.
- Preference may be given to lawyers with 2-3 years of legal practice.
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently.
- During contract period, Fellow shall not take up any other employment without the prior permission of the employer.

Selection Procedure for TISS Recruitment 2024
