TANUVAS Recruitment 2024 Walk-In Interviews for Senior Research Fellow on June 10, 2024
A walk-in interview will be conducted for the recruitment of a temporary Senior Research Fellow under the DBT ATGC Project titled "Designing of a Novel Diagnostic Kit for Detection of Visceral Larva Migrans Due to Toxocara canis" at the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai. The position requires a candidate with a Master's degree in Microbiology, Animal Biotechnology, Biotechnology, or a related life science discipline, or an MVSc from a recognized university, with at least two years of experience.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 35,000 plus 24% HRA, totaling Rs. 43,400. Preference will be given to those with experience in recombinant technology, molecular and serological work, and immunodiagnostic assays. This role is purely temporary for approximately eight months and is co-terminus with the project.
Interested candidates should bring their full bio-data and original certificates to the Department of Veterinary Parasitology on June 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM for a written test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. The written test will last one hour and consist of multiple-choice questions. Current employees must provide a no-objection letter from their employer. No TA or DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Qualifications Details for TANUVAS Recruitment 2024
- MSc Biotechnology / Microbiology /Animál Biotechnology / MVSc from a recognized university
- Candidates having Master's degree in Microbiology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology and other related life science disciplines or MVSc from a recognized university or equivalent is preferred.
- Preference will be given for candidates having experience in recombinant technology, molecular and serology work and immunodiagnostic assays.
Pay Scale for TANUVAS Recruitment 2024
- The available position is for a Senior Research Fellow, with one post open. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience.
- The monthly salary is Rs. 35,000 plus 24% HRA, bringing the total to Rs. 43,400.

- The post is purely temporarily for about eight months and co-terminus with the project. Eligible candidates with full bio data are requested to walk - in to Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai-600 007 for a written test followed by interview for only short listed candidates on 10.06.2024 at 10.00 am with original certificates in support of age, qualification, photo ID card, experience certificate and proof for any other credentials.
- The written exam would be for one-hour duration with multiple choice questions. Working personnel are requested to attend the interview with no objection letter from the present employer. No TA and DA will be provided for attending the interview.
