The Government of Tamil Nadu, vide G.O.(Ms.) No.40, Human Resources Management (N-Spl.) Department, dated 15.03.2024, has constituted a Search Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Justice G.M.Akbar Ali (Retd.), Thiru.K. Allaudin, I.A.S. (Retd.) and Dr.K. Radhakrishnan, I.P.S.(Retd.) as Members, for the purpose of submitting the names for consideration for the post of Chairman and Two Judicial Members of the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta.

Qualification for Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Recruitment 2024

1. The Search Committee invites applications as per section 3(2)(a) of Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Act, 2018 for the post of Chairman from interested persons, who is or has been a Judge of the High Court or a person with twenty-five years experience in Anti-corruption policy, Public Administration, Vigilance, Finance and Law.

2. Further, applications are also invited as per section 3(3)(b) of Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Act, 2018 for the post of Two Non-Judicial Members from interested persons, who has had twenty-five years of experience in anti-corruption policy, public administration, vigilance, finance and law.

3. The qualification, disqualification, term of office and other criteria may be ascertained from Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Act, 2018 and the Rules thereunder available in website www.tn.gov.in / department /22 under the heading "Acts and Ordinances".

• Qualified and Interested persons, may send their application by Speed Post or Registered Post only so as to reach the Chairperson in the address given below, on or before 5 p.m., Tuesday, 30 April, 2024.
• Applications shall be in the prescribed form which can be downloaded from the website www.tn.gov.in/department/22 under the heading "Announcements".
• Application received after the closing time and date shall not be entertained.
• The applications already sent, if any, either to the Chairperson of the Search Committee or to any other authority before publication of this news item shall not be considered as a valid application.
